Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer for its cardiovascular diagnostics team at Aurora Medical Center Summit. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with weekday rotation and occasional clinic rotations to Summit and Waukesha.

You will use advanced echocardiography tech with a team dedicated to patient care. Ideal candidates hold ARDMS/CCI credentials, have at least 2 years in cardiovascular sonography, and have post-high-school education in

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school including an accredited Sonography program.
• 2 years of cardiovascular sonography experience including digital quantification.
• RDCS/AE or RCS certification and BLS within 6 months if required.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced cardiac ultrasound (M-mode, 2-D, Doppler, Color Flow) and measurements for accurate interpretation.
• Assist physicians in labs and complex procedures to reduce risk factors.
• Prepare patients, obtain history, and adapt imaging techniques for diagnostic echocardiograms.
• Operate and maintain echocardiography labs and devices; ensure QA and ICAEL standards.
