WakeMed Health & Hospitals seeks a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiographic studies and document diagnostic images in line with guidelines and best practices.

You will collaborate with physicians and the clinical team to support accurate diagnoses and patient outcomes. A cardiac ultrasound program graduate and 1 year of ultrasound experience are preferred; BLS certification is required or obtainable within a specified timeframe.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Preferred: Minimum of one year of ultrasound experience, ideally within a cardiovascular or specialty practice setting.
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
• Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within established timeframe.

• Capture and document clear, comprehensive images of cardiovascular structures to support accurate diagnoses.

• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold quality and compliance standards.
• Partner with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical team members to support outstanding patient outcomes.

Who We Are Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
