Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Territory Manager in the Cardiac Rhythm Management space to lead sales activities in an assigned territory, coordinating Direct Sales Representatives and Clinical Specialists to drive implantations and profitability. You will train medical professionals, manage patient data flow, and optimize revenue while ensuring compliance with medical device policies.

The role requires 5+ years in CRM sales, a technical degree, and a track record in complex healthcare sales

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a CRM sales representative.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent.
• 4+ years of progressively responsible sales experience in medical devices.
• Professional certification or designation preferred.
• Knowledge of domestic medical device regulations.
• Ability to analyze complex devices and communicate effectively.
• Strong relationship-building with customers and healthcare stakeholders.
• Experience in a matrixed, geographically diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the activities of sales reps within territory.
• Coordinate implanting schedules for Direct Sales Reps and Clinical Specialists.
• Provide medical professionals with product information and training.
• Ensure patient information is completed and forwarded to tracking.
• Manage profitability and control operating expenses as a percentage of sales.
• Increase revenue per head.
• Call on physicians, medical laboratories, hospitals, and hospital management to sell Abbott USD medical devices.
• Conduct marketing surveys and territory analysis.
• Service accounts, present new products, and take orders.
• Promote continuous quality improvement and coordinate solutions for issues.
• Plan and organize work, monitor performance, and report status.
• Use best practices to ensure success and compliance with policies.
