Job summary

Abbott is seeking a dynamic Medical Device Sales Representative for a field-based role in NW Illinois and NW Indiana within the Cardiac Rhythm Management division. You will promote Abbott medical devices to physicians, hospitals, and laboratories across an assigned territory, driving growth for our product lines.

Qualifications

• Two plus years of sales or clinical support experience in a healthcare-related setting.
• Aptitude to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers, physicians, hospital administrators, and others in the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

• Contact, visit, and educate clients on Abbott products and address questions.
• Build and execute business plans to identify and develop new accounts.
• Provide information and training on product use to medical professionals, including in-services.
• Manage inventory within the assigned territory and coordinate travel plans.
