UT Southwestern in Dallas seeks an experienced Exercise Physiologist to support cardiac rehabilitation and stress testing services on-site with regular regional travel. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of direct cardiac rehab experience, 12-lead EKG, and solid patient care skills. Requires Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology; BLS/ACLS within 90 days.

Master’s degree preferred; strong communication and reliability are essential for high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology required.
• At least 2 years of relevant cardiac rehab experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications within 90 days of start date.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates exercise and disease management principles with safe progression.
• Writes complete care plans with time-based goals for interventions.
• Re-evaluates care plans and monitors progress, communicating with physicians.
• Prepares for discharge and ensures rehab goals are met.
• Updates educational materials and provides staff inservices.
• Documents all aspects of patient care and rehab needs.
