Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to join the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation program. The role involves creating individualized exercise prescriptions, monitoring progress, and supporting recovery for cardiovascular patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and may support rehabilitation services at other Cleveland Clinic locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an exercise-related field.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Preferred: background in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation with exposure to in-patient and outpatient populations.
• ACSM-CEP credential is highly preferred or eligible to obtain within one year of hire.

Responsabilités

• Develop individualized exercise prescriptions and monitor patient progress.
• Provide patient testing before and after rehabilitation (strength, body composition, flexibility, balance, endurance).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists.
• Support rehabilitation services at multiple Cleveland Clinic locations as needed.
• Educate patients and peers through public speaking and education classes.
• Recognize contraindications and respond to abnormal patient responses during exercise.
