Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital, part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System, seeks a Cardiac Exercise Physiologist to perform exercise stress tests and develop individualized prescriptions for cardiovascular rehab. The role supports inpatient/outpatient rehab and requires strong cardiopulmonary assessment skills.

You will work days, typically 7:30am-6:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm, in a hospital known for patient-centered care and advanced technology.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in exercise physiology and BLS required or equivalent.
• ACSM Clinical Exercise Specialist Certification or in progress within 1 year of hire date.
• Minimum 3–6 months internship or equivalent with cardiopulmonary patients.
• Proficient in 12-lead EKG interpretation and cardiac arrhythmia recognition.
• Knowledge of cardiology, disease processes and pharmacology related to exercise.

Aufgaben

• Supervise all stress testing in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Review history and physical for test appropriateness.
• Identify contraindications to exercise and abnormal responses.
• Respond to all situations including exercise cessation and referrals.
• Conduct additional physiological assessments (e.g., CPET, PFTs, oximetry).
• Code daily procedures using Medicare CPT/ICD10 guidelines.
