Job summary

Adventist HealthCare in Rockville, MD seeks an experienced Exercise Physiologist to craft personalized exercise prescriptions and programs to improve fitness, strength, endurance, and flexibility. You will conduct fitness evaluations, analyze needs, and document progress for diverse clients.

You will supervise clients, guide home exercise programs, and support outpatient cardiac rehabilitation in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or equivalent.
• ACSM certification required; ACLS/BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized exercise prescriptions to increase fitness, strength, endurance, and flexibility.
• Design customized exercise programs to meet health care needs and athletic goals.
• Perform fitness evaluations, needs analysis, and progress notes for clients.
• Provide home exercise program instruction and ergonomic guidance.
• Conduct stress evaluations and monitor EKG/BP responses.
• Supervise and monitor patient progress and treatment plans.
