Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights (with rotation to Kildeer) seeks an Exercise Physiologist - Cardiac Rehab. You will develop and implement individualized exercise programs for cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients, monitor vital signs and ECG during sessions, lead group workouts, and support safe progression toward independent, home-based routines.

Requirements include a BS in Exercise Science (MS preferred), 1+ year rehab experience, ECG interpretation skills, CPR certification, ACLS within

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in exercise science or related field required.
MS degree preferred.
1+ year cardiac/pulmonary rehab experience preferred.
CPR certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
ECG interpretation skills are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients.
Monitor vital signs and ECG during exercise sessions.
Modify exercise plans based on patient response and progress.
Lead group exercise sessions with warm-up and cool-down.
Provide patient education on exercise, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
Support progression toward independent home-based exercise routines.
