UHS is seeking a Cardiac Rehab professional to work with patients on health and life goals. You will design and monitor safety-focused exercise programs, utilizing Pritikin ICR, and provide encouraging, patient-centered support throughout the program.

The role emphasizes exercise physiology, nutrition/risk modification, and behavior-change strategies within a comprehensive care team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Physical Education, Recreation, Physiology or related field.
• CPR certification preferred and ACLS not specified.
• ACSM Clinical Exercise Specialist (CES) certification preferred when available.

Responsabilités

• Support and encourage patients to meet health and life goals.
• Design and monitor programs through Pritikin ICR with emphasis on safety.
• Monitor patient safety and progress throughout the program.
• Be friendly, accommodating, and encouraging to participants.
