Job summary

Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital in Troy, MI is seeking a qualified cardiac rehabilitation professional to provide multidisciplinary care across all phases of rehab. The role includes developing exercise prescriptions, supervising tests, and educating patients while supporting program growth.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's in Exercise Science or related field, with ECG interpretation experience and BLS certification; ACSM or AACVPR credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or related field is required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• ECG interpretation experience is required.
• At least 2 years of experience or completion of a 600-hour clinical internship in cardiac rehab may be required depending on site.
• Current BLS certification required on hire.
• ACLS preferred (may be required at specific sites).
• ACSM/ AACVPR certification within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of phases I-III cardiac rehabilitation; develop exercise prescriptions and sessions for cardio/pulmonary rehab and other chronic illnesses.
• Supervise cardiovascular stress tests and ensure reliable data.
• Provide additional services such as EECP and holter/event monitor placement.
