Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to support the Heart & Vascular Institute in Urbana, IL. The role collaborates with physicians during invasive cardiology and radiology procedures and ensures patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, documentation, and teaching new staff as needed, with on-call and variable shifts to meet department needs. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include an Associate's Degree or a Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
• Licensure/certification: Registered Radiography with ARRT and Illinois IEMA license.
• ACLS certification required within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material as ordered and monitors for reactions.
• Under supervision of physicist or dosimetrist, performs duties related to radiologic technology.
• Assists with inventory and supplies management.
