Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an Ultrasound Echocardiography Technician to provide high-quality imaging of the heart and great vessels for adult patients at our Peoria, Illinois campus. The role includes assisting with exercise and pharmacologic stress testing and supporting related duties as required.

Qualified candidates hold ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year and BLS within 30 days. Education in sonography or a related field is required, and new graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identifies EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia.
• Assists in performing transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).
• Communicates results to the cardiologist and responds to questions.
