Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Cardiac Post Procedural Medical Telemetry unit in Glenbrook Hospital. The PCT works under an RN or LPN, providing essential patient care, comfort and safety, tailored to patients on the assigned unit.

The role involves direct patient interaction, hourly rounding, safe handling, ADLs support, and assisting with admissions, discharges and transfers. Requires BLS certification and CNA-related training; US work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork and the ability to prioritize and follow directions.
• CNA training or equivalent preferred; nursing clinical rotation experience valued.
• US work eligibility is required to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors; assist with hourly rounding and call lights.
• Assist in safe handling, ambulation, and repositioning using Safe Patient Handling equipment.
• Provide basic nursing care (ADLs) under RN/LPN supervision; ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers; transport patients as needed.
• Document patient care activities, vital signs, intake/output, and other relevant data; notify team as required.
