Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor seeks a Registered Nurse for the 7 East Cardiac Med/PCU unit. This role serves older adolescent to older adult cardiac patients and provides timely interventions on a 32-bed unit with continuous monitoring.

The position is full-time with rotating Day/Night shifts and every-other weekend/holiday per year. Michigan RN license required; BSN preferred; ACLS/BLS required for designated departments.

Qualifications

• Education Graduation enabling NCLEX eligibility to become licensed as an RN. BSN preferred.
• Current State of Michigan RN License. BLS. ACLS required for specified departments.
• BSN within five years from date of hire or transfer to an RN role.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes patient information
• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises an individualized plan of care
• Uses teach back methodology to educate patient and family
• Seeks to prevent hospital-acquired conditions
• Communicates patient status and priority goals during rounds and handoffs
• Follows HIPAA policies and contributes to mission and values of the hospital
