Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 6 East Cardiac Intensive Care Unit/Progressive Care Unit. You will care for critically ill cardiac patients, coordinate plans of care, and participate in multidisciplinary rounds and handoffs.

The role requires an active Michigan RN license, ACLS/BLS as appropriate, and BSN preferred. Shifts are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with full-time and part-time options and some weekend requirements. Benefits begin Day One.

Qualifications

• Current State of Michigan RN license required.
• BSN degree preferred; ACLS/BLS certifications as required.
• Ability to apply nursing theory to age-specific patient care.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes patient information.
• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises an individualized plan of care.
• Uses teach back methodology to educate patient and family.
• Communicates patient status, goals and interventions during rounds and handoffs.
• Adheres to HIPAA policies and institutional mission and values.
• Assists in caring for critically ill cardiac patients in a progressive care setting.
