Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL is seeking a Part Time Patient Care Tech for night shifts (6pm-6:30am) on a 26-bed cardiovascular unit. You will perform basic nursing tasks under RN supervision, assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and help maintain a clean, organized unit.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, CNA/CMA/EMT or nursing student with clinical experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CNA, CMA, EMT, or nursing student with one semester of clinical completed.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic nursing care activities as delegated by an RN, including vital signs and glucose measurements.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming and eating.
• Report abnormal findings or changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Assist with unit workflow and prioritization under supervision.

Education
