Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide basic direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. The role includes taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and supporting patient transfers and comfort in a fast-paced unit.

This position offers day/evening shifts, 8-hour blocks, and a 0.8 FTE schedule with every 4th weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or 17 with HS diploma or GED.
• Completion of CNA program or Nursing Assistant Academy or NREMT or prior direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document health status data.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and transfers.
• Take and document vital signs and communicate changes to RN.
• Provide mobility assistance and transport within the unit.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and routine procedures.
