Job summary

TriStar Health seeks a Cardiac Prep PACU Nurse to deliver specialized pre- and post-anesthesia care to cardiac patients within our Healthcare & Medical Services team. This RN will perform focused cardiac assessments, monitor telemetry and hemodynamics, and administer IV medications to support safe recovery from anesthesia.

The nurse will collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists and the perioperative team, while educating patients and families about care plans and post-anesthesia

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Tennessee or eligible to practice.
• Experience in perioperative or PACU settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver focused cardiac assessments in PACU and prep areas.
• Monitor telemetry and hemodynamics during recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer IV medications as ordered and monitor patient responses.
• Educate patients and families about recovery plans and discharge instructions.
