Job summary

TriStar Health seeks a Cardiac Prep PACU Nurse to deliver specialized pre- and post-anesthesia care to cardiac patients within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. This RN will perform focused cardiac assessments, manage telemetry and hemodynamic monitoring, administer IV medications, and support safe recovery from anesthesia.

The nurse will collaborate closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team while educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the United States.
• Experience in cardiac care or PACU is preferred.
• Knowledge of telemetry and hemodynamic monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-anesthesia cardiac care.
• Monitor vitals and telemetry during recovery.
• Administer IV medications and manage hemodynamic status.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and recovery expectations.
