Job summary

LaborEdge, LLC is seeking a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician to assist during heart and major vascular surgeries. The role ensures the CVOR is prepared, sterile, and fully equipped, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and OR staff.

You will set up instrument trays, sterilize instruments, prepare grafts and supplies, and assist with patient positioning before, during, and after procedures.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
• General OR experience is preferred.
• Optional CVOR certification (e.g., CST‑CVOR from NBSTSA).

Responsibilities

• Pre-Procedure: Prepare CVOR and set up multiple instrument trays (200+ items for bypass cases).
• Sterilize and arrange cardiovascular instruments (clamps, forceps, sutures, cannulas).
• Prepare grafts, sutures, delivery systems, and other supplies.
• Transport and position the patient for surgery.
