Job summary

LaborEdge, LLC seeks a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician to support heart and major vascular surgeries. The role ensures the CVOR is prepared, sterile, and fully equipped, collaborating closely with cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and OR staff.

You will pre‑assemble instrument trays, sterilize cardiovascular instruments, transport patients, and assist during CABG and valve procedures. Strong teamwork and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Optional CVOR certification (CST-CVOR NBSTSA) mentioned as a credential.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Procedure: Prepare the CVOR, set up 200+ instrument trays for bypass cases, sterilize and arrange cards/cords.
• During Procedure: Pass instruments with precision, maintain sterile field, monitor and troubleshoot OR equipment.
• Post-Procedure: Assist with patient transfer, restock the CVOR, document equipment or supply issues.
