Job summary

PIH Health in Los Angeles is seeking a qualified nurse to perform cardiac stress tests and support diagnostic procedures in a busy cardiology setting. This role includes treadmill and pharmacologic stress testing, pacemaker checks, and arrhythmia surveillance under physician supervision.

You will collaborate with physicians, technicians, and nursing staff to deliver safe, high-quality patient care while complying with the California Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in California.
• Experience with cardiac stress tests and TEEs is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced cardiology setting and follow physician orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and effective cardiac stress tests (treadmills, thallium tests, pharmacologic stress) including stress echocardiograms.
• Conduct pacemaker checks and arrhythmia surveillance monitoring.
• Prepare patients for and assist with diagnostic procedures (TEEs, cardioversions, tilt-table tests) and blood pressure monitoring.
• Deliver quality patient care through coordinated teamwork with physicians and staff, adhering to the California Nurse Practice Act.
