Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s in Nursing with a minimum of 2 years or greater experience in an acute care unit and at least 6 months cardiology experience required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Knowledge of exercise testing principles, lead placement and skin preparation
• Knowledge of electrocardiography and ECG changes related to exercise and drugs
• Knowledge of conditions that can cause false-positive/false-negative results
• Ability to maintain and calibrate stress testing equipment and provide accurate data
• Ability to perform patient care following diagnostic protocols; communicate with physicians effectively

• Perform Stress Echocardiography, treadmill tests, and bubble studies as ordered.
• Provide coverage at UCLA cardiac stress labs as needed.
• Ensure proper lead placement, patient preparation and data collection.
• Communicate results and observations to physicians in a timely manner.
