Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required for all new hires.
• Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
• Six months previous experience in Healthcare or as Monitor Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors and transcribe physician orders in absence of CPOE/EMR when needed.
• Prepare and compile records in Med/Surg/Telemetry; verify labs and radiology orders are completed.
• Assist nursing staff with indirect patient care within CNA supervision and scope as needed.
