You will educate staff, develop new accounts, manage territory inventory, and participate in trade shows, while analyzing sales data and coordinating travel. A technical background and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent.
• Typically two plus years of sales or clinical support experience in healthcare.
• Aptitude to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.
• Ability to work with and direct others effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations, and procedures.
• Record of delivering sales/marketing information to influence customers.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and healthcare professionals.
• Strong verbal/written communication, negotiation, sales, and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of common PC programs and applications.

Responsibilities

• Contact, visit, and educate clients on Abbott products and address questions.
• Build and execute business plans to identify and develop new accounts.
• Provide training to medical professionals on product use and troubleshooting.
• Ensure patient information is forwarded to tracing when required.
• Manage inventory within the assigned territory.
• Collect and study information about products and monitor competitors.
• Analyze sales statistics, prepare reports, and perform admin duties.
• Attend trade shows and conferences to showcase products and developments.
• Prepare special analyses as required.
• Stay current on developments in relevant fields.
• Resolve problems and identify causes to prevent recurrences.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
