Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a dynamic Medical Device Sales Representative for the El Paso, TX territory within the Cardiac Rhythm Management division. You will promote Abbott medical devices to physicians, labs, distributors and hospitals, building business plans to develop key accounts and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
• Typically two plus years of sales or clinical support experience in healthcare.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Aptitude to analyze technologically complex devices.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers and medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Abbott medical devices to physicians, labs, distributors and hospitals.
• Build and execute business plans to identify and develop new accounts.
• Provide product information and training to healthcare professionals and staff.
• Manage territory inventory and travel plans; coordinate with management on accounts.
• Attend trade shows and conferences to showcase products and discuss developments.
• Prepare analyses and reports; stay current on field developments.
