Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 7 East Cardiac Med/PCU unit. The position supports adults and older adults with cardiac and medical-surgical conditions, requiring close monitoring and timely interventions.

The role offers a full-time schedule on a rotating day/night shift, with weekend and holiday expectations. A Michigan RN license, BLS, and ACLS for specified departments are required, with BSN preferred and a targeted five-year BSN completion requirement for

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing that enables sitting for the NCLEX and RN licensure; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes patient information.
• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises an individualized plan of care.
• Uses teach back methodology to educate patient and family.
• Actively seeks to prevent potential hospital-acquired conditions.
• Effectively communicates patient status, priority goals and interventions during consultations, rounds and handoffs.
• Follows all HIPAA policies and procedures.
