Job summary

Qualifications

• AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology completion
• 2 years' experience in diagnostic radiology
• Experience in interventional radiology/cardiac catheterization or equivalent
• ARRT certification or registration
• Radiology Technologist license in Maryland
• ACLS certification or eligibility

Responsibilities

• Administer contrast media into coronary arteries during cardiac catheterization as directed by a Cardiologist.
• Assist physician as first assistant by scrubbing and aiding in placement of guide wires and catheters.
• Manage patient care before, during, and after procedure and monitor patient status.
• Maintain sterile technique, pre/post-procedure duties, and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images and support equipment inventory and records.
