MedStar Health in Maryland seeks a Cardiac Intervention Technologist II for the EP Lab. You will perform angiographic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures and manage patients before, during, and after the procedure.

Responsibilities include assisting the physician, handling contrast media, and ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining equipment and records. A sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• AMA-approved radiologic technology program (2 years).
• 2 years’ experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Experience in interventional radiology or cardiac catheterization.
• ARRT certification or registration.
• Radiology license in Maryland.
• ACLS certification or eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Administers contrast media during cardiac catheterization as directed.
• Assist physician as first assistant; scrub and guide wires/catheters.
• Maintain imaging equipment and supplies; manage patient flow.
• Pre/post-procedure patient care and education; discharge instructions.
• Record patient data and ensure accurate RIS entries.
