Job summary

ROMTech seeks a Cardiac Intake Specialist in Clearwater to coordinate scheduling, onboarding, and operational support for our clinician-guided at-home rehab program. You will collaborate with clinicians, IT, and operations to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Ideal candidates have strong EMR experience, excellent communication, and a background in medical assisting or related healthcare support. BLS is required; onboarding equipment guidance will be provided.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of scheduling, coordination, or patient support experience.
• Five+ years as a Medical Assistant or healthcare support role (preferred).
• Experience with EMR platforms and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling, including appointments, rescheduling, and coverage.
• Coordinate staffing to ensure uninterrupted patient support.
• Collaborate with clinicians and leaders across teams to support care operations.
• Facilitate patient onboarding and transitions within the rehab program.
• Educate patients on program expectations and equipment usage (EKG, BP cuffs, etc.).
• Provide first-line technical support during patient sessions and document in EMR.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation; support process improvements.
