Job summary

Allegheny Health Network (Forbes Hospital) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 47-bed Intermediate Care Unit with a 1:4 to 1:5 patient ratio. The unit focuses on telemetry, cardiac rehab, and post-procedure care, in a busy cardiac floor under the critical care umbrella.

The RN will provide professional nursing care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and participate in quality and safety initiatives. Strong commitment to ongoing learning and patient-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure OR multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR certification.
• Act 34, Act 33, Act 73 background clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in a professional practice setting and mentors staff.
• Assess patient health status and develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care.
• Ensure patient safety and quality of care in a busy, high-acuity unit.
