Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the 4 North Telemetry Unit. This 35-bed unit provides continuous monitoring and management for patients with cardiac and medical telemetry needs, including post-procedural care and heart failure management.

The RN will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting. A PA license or eNLC eligibility and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• PA RN licensure required; or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• Current CPR certification (BLS) required.
• Experience in high-acuity telemetry care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to assess and plan patient care.
• Delegates tasks based on patient needs and staff competencies.
• Maintains safe patient environment and adheres to hospital policies.
• Communicates patient status and needs to physicians and care teams.
• Participates in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
