Corewell Health in Saint Joseph, Michigan, seeks an RN to provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Center and related units, following the nursing process and patient-family centered care.

You will partner with Nurse Leader, assess, plan, implement, evaluate, discharge, and educate patients; must have Michigan RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS; 36 hours weekly, night shift 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.; full-time.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing within 5 years.
• Must have MI RN license and NCLEX.
• BLS within 90 days, ACLS within 1 year, NIHSS within 90 days, PALS within 1 year.
• TNCC and ER/Chest Pain Unit experience within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Deliver patient-family centered care and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and care teams to ensure quality outcomes.

Education

Associates in Nursing

Bachelors in Nursing within 5 years

MI Registered Nurse (RN)

NCLEX licensure examination

AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days

AHA Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 Year

NIH Stroke Certification - NIHSS

AHA Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) within 1 year

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

ER and Chest Pain Unit within 2 years
