Job summary

ChristianaCare's Heart Failure Unit (5E) in Newark, DE seeks an experienced RN to deliver high-acuity post‑critical care nursing for heart failure and post‑operative cardiac care. You will monitor patients with chest tubes, pacing wires, and central lines, providing education and timely interventions.

The role requires a BSN (preferred) and Delaware RN licensure or eligibility, with 72 hours per pay, and a rotating schedule including weekends/holidays. Excellent benefits offered.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience required.
• Previous stepdown experience preferred.
• Previous critical care experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to high-acuity heart failure patients.
• Perform advanced assessment and continuous hemodynamic monitoring.
• Administer medications and educate patients and families.
• Detect clinical changes early and respond promptly to deteriorations.
