ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Heart Failure Unit at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. You will work on a 36-bed post-critical care cardiac unit with 12 beds for post‑operative open‑heart/LVAD patients, providing high‑acuity nursing care during day and night shifts.

The role requires 1+ year RN experience, BLS (ACLS preferred), and active Delaware licensure or eligibility. BSN preferred with a plan to obtain BSN within three years; generous benefits and PTO accompany this

Qualifications

• BSN preferred with commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire.
• At least one year of RN experience required.
• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility required.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Heart Failure patients, including post‑operative and LVAD patients.
• Perform advanced assessment and continuous hemodynamic/cardiac monitoring.
• Administer medications and educate patients and families.
• Detect changes in patient condition early and respond appropriately.
