Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a patient care teammate to provide basic direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will assist with vital signs, daily living activities, and patient monitoring in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or GED, BLS certification, and have at least one year of recent patient care experience. Nursing students may substitute clinical rotations, and military medical backgrounds are considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross required within the new hire period.
• Nursing students may substitute clinical rotation or education for the required experience.
• Military medical experience considered (HM, 68W, 4N0X1).

Responsibilities

• Reports abnormal findings or changes in patients to the RN.
• Assists with vital signs, personal care, ADLs, and patient transports.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Demonstrates professional, compassionate interaction with patients and staff.
