Cleveland Clinic Health System in Mayfield Heights, OH seeks a Cardiovascular Surgery ICU CT assistant to provide or assist with direct patient care under RN supervision. The role emphasizes handling vital signs, patient transfers, and basic clinical tasks in a fast-paced CSICU setting.

Requires high school diploma, one year of patient care experience, and BLS certification within the new hire period; nursing students may substitute a clinical rotation.

Competenze

• One year of recent, full-time patient care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the new hire period.
• Nursing students may substitute a clinical rotation for the required experience.

Mansioni

• Report abnormal findings to the RN, including vital signs and patient condition.
• Assist with ADLs, transfers, pulse oximetry, and basic monitoring equipment.
• Perform phlebotomy, dressing changes, 12-lead ECGs and Foley catheter insertions.
• Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Demonstrate a positive, caring, and respectful response in the workplace.
• Interact with patients and staff with strong interpersonal skills.
• Read, write and speak English and follow oral and written instructions.
• Perform basic clinical mathematics as needed.
