Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, is seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join the Heart & Vascular Institute. You will be part of a collaborative EP program with advanced capabilities and a strong referral network.

The role entails high-volume EP procedures, including ablations and CRM device implants, plus inpatient and outpatient EP services. A passion for teaching and resident/fellow collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with lead extractions is preferred.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage in high-volume EP procedures including ablations and device implants.
• Lead inpatient EP consult service and outpatient clinics.
• Collaborate with Summa Health Heart & Vascular Institute and NEOMED faculty.
• Mentor cardiology fellows and participate in multidisciplinary rounds.
