Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join the Heart & Vascular Institute in Akron, Ohio. You will join a collaborative EP program with a strong referral network and advanced procedural capabilities.

The incoming physician will work with 4 EP physicians and 3 APPs, performing high-volume EP procedures, device implants, and consults while partnering to shape an integrated cardiovascular program within the system.

Qualifications

• Board certified/board eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain
• Experience with lead extractions is preferred
• Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume complex EP procedures and ablations.
• Provide CRM device therapy and lead management.
• Lead EP consult service with general cardiology fellows and staff.
• Collaborate within Summa Health Heart and Vascular Institute's multidisciplinary team.
• Support outpatient clinic activity and inpatient EP coverage.
