Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, is seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our nationally recognized Heart & Vascular Institute. The incoming physician will join an experienced EP team dedicated to innovative, patient-centered cardiovascular care within an integrated health system.

The role emphasizes high-volume EP procedures, device therapy, and collaborative care with cardiology fellows and advanced practice providers.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiology and electrophysiology.
• Completion of a Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship.
• Unrestricted Ohio medical licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Lead extraction experience is preferred.
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume EP procedures including ablations.
• Implant CRM devices and manage lead extracts as needed.
• Collaborate with cardiology fellows and advanced practice providers.
• Participate in outpatient clinics and inpatient consults.
• Contribute to quality improvement and clinical research.
