Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio invites a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our Heart & Vascular Institute's collaborative EP program. This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of an experienced team with advanced procedural capabilities and a strong referral network.

Joining the EP section offers high-volume complex ablations, CRM device implants, and potential leadership opportunities, with an emphasis on patient-centered cardiovascular care within an integrated health system.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with lead extractions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 3.5 days in the EP lab and 1.5 days outpatient clinic per week.
• Inpatient EP consult service approximately 1 week every 5 weeks.
• Shared weekend and holiday call with strong physician support.
• Cardiology fellows assist with consults and inpatient coverage.
