Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join the Heart & Vascular Institute in Akron, Ohio. You will work with an experienced EP team to deliver high-volume ablations, CRM device implants, and advanced EP services within an integrated health system.

The role offers a collaborative environment with opportunities for leadership, potential medical directorship, and faculty appointment considerations with NEOMED, supported by Epic EMR and strong referral networks.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with lead extractions is preferred.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume EP procedures including ablations and device management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary Heart & Vascular Institute team.
• Provide EP consults and inpatient coverage as needed.
• Participate in teaching and research opportunities.
