Job summary

Summa Health's Heart and Vascular Institute in Akron, Ohio, seeks a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join a collaborative EP program with a strong referral network and advanced procedural capabilities.

The incoming physician will partner with four EP colleagues and a team of APPs to deliver complex ablations, lead extractions, device therapy, and EP consultations while shaping cardiovascular care within an integrated health system.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with lead extractions is preferred.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient-centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative electrophysiology program with high-level procedural capabilities.
• Provide EP services with high-volume ablations and device implants.
• Share weekend and holiday call with strong physician support.
• Collaborate with cardiology fellows and other specialists to deliver patient-centered care.
• Potential faculty appointment at NEOMED and work within Summa Health Heart and Vascular Institute.
