Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, seeks a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join the Heart & Vascular Institute. The incoming physician will work in a collaborative EP program with a referral network and advanced capabilities, joining four EP physicians and three advance practice providers.

Highlights include high-volume ablations, CRM device implants, and lead extractions within a large, multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with lead extractions is preferred.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Join an experienced EP team of 4 EP physicians and 3 advanced practice providers.
• Perform high-volume complex ablations and device therapies in a collaborative program.
• Support outpatient clinic and inpatient EP consult service as part of a large Heart & Vascular Institute.
