Job summary

Summa Health's Heart & Vascular Institute in Akron, Ohio seeks a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join a collaborative program with 4 EP physicians and 3 advanced practice providers, delivering patient-centered cardiovascular care within an integrated health system.

The role features high-volume complex ablations, device implants, and opportunities for leadership, faculty appointment at NEOMED, and a strong referral network with Epic EMR support.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain
• Experience with lead extractions is preferred
• Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment

Responsibilities

• 3.5 days in EP lab and 1.5 days outpatient clinic per week
• Inpatient EP consult service approximately 1 week every 5 weeks
• Shared weekend and holiday call with strong physician support
• Cardiology fellows assist with consults and inpatient coverage
