Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, OH seeks a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join its Heart & Vascular Institute. The incoming physician will join a collaborative EP program with a strong referral network and advanced procedural capabilities, including complex ablations and device therapies.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with lead extractions preferred.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient-centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 3.5 days in the Electrophysiology lab and 1.5 days outpatient clinic per week.
• Inpatient EP consult service approximately 1 week every 5 weeks.
• Shared weekend and holiday call with strong physician support.
• Cardiology fellows assist with consults and inpatient coverage.
