Job summary

Summa Health's Heart and Vascular Institute in Akron, Ohio seeks a Board-Eligible/Cardiology Electrophysiologist to join a collaborative team of EP physicians and APPs delivering innovative cardiovascular care.

The role includes high-volume ablations, device implants, lead extractions, and LAA occlusion with clinical duties in EP consults and outpatient care. Employed with competitive benefits; NEOMED faculty appointment possible and Epic EMR access.

Qualifications

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training.
Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
Experience with lead extractions is preferred.
Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

Join a collaborative electrophysiology program with experienced EP physicians and APPs.
Perform high-volume complex ablations, CRM device implants, laser lead extractions, LAA occlusion devices.
EP consult service with cardiology fellows and a busy office practice.
