Responsibilities include clerical tasks, data entry in EPIC, and ensuring accurate test ordering and billing. A high school diploma and EKG training are required, with CPR certification preferred; prior EKG experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of EKG training, either an exclusive EKG training program or as part of other educational programs.
• Prior work experience that included performing EKGs may be considered as fulfillment of this requirement.
• Required 6 months of relevant experience
• Six months of experience as an EKG technician preferred.
• BLS CPR certification required by AHA or ARC.

Aufgaben

• Performs Electrocardiograms in a variety of settings, including outpatient, Emergency Department, and in-house locations.
• Maintains EKG equipment.
• Maintains sufficient inventory to operate the EKG services.
• Performs clerical duties such as computer entry, filing, recording, and mailing and reports as needed.
• Completes all test orders in EPIC to ensure charges are processed.
