Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an exclusive EKG training program or part of other educational programs.
• Six months of experience as an EKG technician preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support required.
• Knowledge of normal and abnormal EKG data.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiograms in outpatient, ED, and in-house settings.
• Maintain EKG equipment and keep inventory adequate for operations.
• Complete test orders in EPIC to ensure charges are processed.
